On 22-23 April, 2015 a meeting of the Steering Committee (Project Steering Board), which consists of representatives of the companies involved in INCOBAT project, took place in Munich, at the headquarters of Infineon. The delegates reported the progress of works, made achievements, and potential problems. Jointly with the PSB meeting the workshops on WP5 package tasks were held in which the researches conducted at ICPT play a very important role. They will be the basis for the evaluation of the project’s success.
In its presentation ICPT S.A. reported the current status of development of the battery for Renault Twingo car.
The meeting resulted in the clarification of specific guidelines for the most important test-validation tasks which are going to be implemented in WP5. Endurance tests were also initiated. These tests aim at the precise modelling of battery system elements. The essence of the accurate modelling of endurance is the major reduction of costs in comparison with trials on physically existing objects.
On 13th April, 2015 ICPT S.A. and Military University of Technology (WAT) signed cooperation agreement. The latter institution directly subordinates to Ministry of Defence.
